Jazzway 6004’s beloved holiday tradition returns Saturday, December 12 at 8 PM, with flutist Delandria Mills-Milan and her fabulous band performing Home for the Holidays—a fresh, soulful and engaging interpretation of favorite holiday music. Holiday favorites include Carol of the Bells, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Silver Bells and many others.

Multi-genre flutist, educator, and author, Delandria Mills is a native of Houston, Texas. Mills is a graduate of Houston's High School for the Performing & Visual Arts, Prairie View A&M University, and earned both her Masters in Classical Flute and Graduate Performance Diploma in Jazz Studies from the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore where she now teaches in the Preparatory Department. Delandria is the founder of Kingdom Flute Works (KFW), her annual intensive summer program for flute students of all ages. In addition to KFW and the Peabody Institute, Delandria teaches Baltimore City Public Schools and is associate flute professor at Morgan State University

Besides Delandria on flute, her stellar band features Brent Birkhead on saxophone, Janelle Gill on piano, Corcoran Holt on bass, Chris Latona on drums and Andrew Latona on guitar. Most of whom are on her Home for the Holidays CD.

Every live ticket includes complimentary soft drinks, a raffle, and our post-concert dessert and nibble reception with coffee, plus the opportunity to meet and mingle with the musicians. All ticket holders also receive a non-expiring link to the full concert.

If you can’t join us in person, our multi-camera livestream brings the Jazzway experience right into your home.
