           Phenomenal pianist/vibist/drummer Warren Wolf returns to Jazzway 6004 for Jazzway's 4th Anniversary show.  His guest is with award winning trumpet player Jeremy Pelt. Warren Wolf - piano & vibes - Jeremy Pelt - trumpet Kris Funn - bass  - John Lamkin - drums All tickets include soft drinks and an elegant fruit, cheese and dessert buffett & a piece of birthday cake!   bios: Warren Wolf is a multi-instrumentalist who lives in Baltimore. Since the age of three, Warren has been playing many different instruments which include vibraphone/marimba, drumset/percussion and the piano/keyboards. He attended the Peabody Preparatory of The John Hopkins Institute in Baltimore, MD where he studied with former Baltimore Symphony Member Leo LePage, playing many styles of music, including classical, jazz and ragtime.  He went on to high school at the Baltimore School for the Arts and after graduating, Warren headed north and enrolled at Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, Warren studied with Caribbean Jazz Project Vibist Dave Samuels and he began to experiment with many different music styles, outside of jazz and classical, such as hip-hop,r&b,drum-n-bass,funk,rock,gospel,world music, Latin and many others. During his time at Berklee, Warren had the opportunity to play drums at a regular weekend  gig at the legendary jazz club Wally’s Café – which lasted for 3 years. Warren co-led a quintet at Wally’s with trumpeter Jason Palmer. Warren also served on the faculty of  Berklee College of Music, teaching there from September 2003 to December 2004. He has taught in the college percussion department teaching piano classes for entering freshman drummers. He has also taught private lessons at Berklee for drummers and mallet students. While at Berklee, Warren had the chance to play and record with many of the world’s best musicians. Some musicians include, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Nicholas Payton, Mulgrew Miller, Lewis Nash, Christian McBride, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Bobby Watson, Roy Hanynes, Danilo Perez, and many others. Warren had recorded four records as a leader. INCREDIBLE JAZZ VIBES was recorded on the Japanese label M & I Records also featuring Mulgrew Miller on piano, Vicente Archer on Bass and Kendrick Scott on Drums. RAW, Warren’s 2nd recording showcases Warren on both the vibraphone and drumset along with Darren Barrett on Trumpet, Walter Smith on Tenor Saxophone, Lawrence Fields on Piano and a host of others. Warren "Chano Pozo" Wolf is his 3rd record and the 4th is entitled "Black Wolf", featuring Warren on vibes, drums and piano and also featuring Mulgrew Miller on Piano, Jeff "Tain" Watts on Drums and Rodney Whitaker on Bass.  Warren can also be heard on recordings by drummer Adonis Rose(On The Verge-CRISSCROSS), trumpeter Jeremy Pelt(Identity-(MAXJAZZ), and the new Bobby Watson Group “Live & Learn”(From The Heart-Palmetto Records)which features Harold O’Neal on Piano, Curtis Lundy on Bass, Quincy Davis on Drums and Leron Thomas on Trumpet. Warren is currently a touring and recording member of Christian McBride group "Inside Straight" and is featured on the Inside Straight record "Kind of Brown". Warren was voted best rising star artist in the vibraphone category of Downbeat’s 2010 Critics Poll Warren is a Mack Ave. recording artist with his 1st record due on the Mack Ave label due out in the Fall of 2011. Pelt...maintains a consistent forward momentum.. while he transmits a modern-day sense of urgency with his songs. Jeremy Pelt arrived in New York in 1998 after graduating from Berklee College of Music. Once he got there, it wasn't long before he started being noticed by a lot of top musicians in the city. His first professional Jazz gig was playing with the Mingus Big Band. That gig lead to many long lasting associations with many of the talent in the band, and a great opportunity for growth. Since his arrival, he has been fortunate enough to play with many of today's and yesterday's Jazz luminaries, such as Jimmy Heath, Frank Wess,Charli Persip, Keter Betts, Frank Foster, John Hicks, Ravi Coltrane, Winard Harper, Vincent Herring, Ralph Peterson, Lonnie Plaxico, Cliff Barbaro, Nancy Wilson, Bobby Short, Bobby "Blue" Bland, The Skatalites, Cedar Walton, and many, many more. Jeremy has also been featured in a variety of different bands, including the Roy Hargrove Big Band, The Village Vanguard Orchestra, the Duke Ellington Big Band. Currently, he is member of the Lewis Nash Septet, and The Cannonball Adderley Legacy Band featuring Louis Hayes. His work earned him a huge write-up in the Wall Street Journal by legendary Jazz writer and producer Nat Hentoff. His performances have received rave reviews from publications around the world. After a reading of Pelt's biography and discography, it's easy to see why Pelt was voted Rising Star on the Trumpet five years in a row by Downbeat Magazine and the Jazz Journalist Association!!  Ticket link: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/163709
