Jazzway is proud to present its first foray into the visual arts by hosting a wine and art pairing on October 22, featuring the paintings of Zachary Titford.  Patrons of Jazzway are familiar with Zachary’s triptych, Equinox which hangs above the fireplace.  Along with being a long time volunteer of Jazzway, Zachary has taught painting and drawing at the high school level for many years, and managed to continue his creative output.  His paintings are bright and brushy, rendering his experience on the land in an energetic and compelling way.  Zachary will be showing works from three locations he has spent extensive time; Baltimore County, Fredrick County, and Dutchess County, New York.  Pairing these pieces with wines and cheeses from the region offer a chance to reflect on the vineyards environment, and draw comparisons between the visual arts and essences of the libation.  Jazzway, and the artist, invite you engage in a charming conversation with a glass of wine and a painting.  Admission for the event is FREE, but you must register by sending an e-mail to m2katz@comcast.net.
