One of Jazzway’s all time favorite holiday shows, saxophonist Tim Warfield brings his vivid and inventive showcase of traditional holiday songs back to Baltimore with an impressive all-star band. The New York Times named Tim Warfield’s Jazzy Christmas one of the 20 best holiday recordings when it was released in 2013. Tim’s holiday show is a truly tasteful offering, incorporating inventive instrumental improvisations and warm vocals. The elite band includes Tim Warfield - saxophones/bandleader, Terell Stafford-trumpet, Cyrus Chestnut-piano, Warren Wolf-vibraphone, Georgia Heers-vocals, Rodney Whitaker-bass and Clarence Penn-drums. This concert is also a fundraiser and tickets include complimentary soft drinks, a raffle and an after-concert buffet of desserts and appetizers.
