Yuletide Hideaway captures the romance, joy, and sparkle of the season through her signature blend of charm, swing, and sophistication. Expect the playful and sultry title track, co-written with longtime collaborator Chris Caswell, alongside tender renditions of Dave Frishberg’s “Snowbound,” a dreamy “Winter Wonderland,” and the nostalgic classic “Christmas Time Is Here.” With her luminous vocals and expressive piano, Karrin brings the holiday spirit to life — joined by Paul Bollenback on guitar and Amy Shook on bass. Bio- Karrin Allyson is a five-time Grammy-nominated vocalist, pianist, and songwriter celebrated for her versatility and emotional depth. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, she has released 17 acclaimed albums, including her latest, A Kiss for Brazil (2024). Singing in five languages—English, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish—Allyson moves effortlessly through jazz, blues, bossa nova, samba, pop, and the Great American Songbook.

Her album Some of That Sunshine (2018) showcased her songwriting talents, earning rave reviews from critics, while her 2019 project Shoulder to Shoulder: A Centennial Tribute to Women’s Suffrage featured guest artists such as Madeleine Peyroux, Rosanne Cash, Harry Belafonte, and Kurt Elling. Based in New York City, Allyson continues to perform worldwide and share her expertise as Head of Jazz Vocals at the Hartt School of Music and on the faculty of William Paterson University.
