Sharón Clark and the Chris Grasso Trio present a collection of favorites from the Great American Songbook and the pop music of Sharón's youth, plus a tribute to Baltimore’s own Ethel Ennis. Ms. Clark has brought festival and concert audiences to their feet across the globe. And wherever she goes, critics rave! Ms.Clark tours extensively, from Europe to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Russia, and has been a featured soloist with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (SMJO), Richmond Symphony, and Baltimore Symphony. The SMJO and The Ludacris Foundation featured Ms. Clark in their separate tributes to Quincy Jones. Ms. Clark won the Gold Medal and $10,000 prize at the Savannah Music Festival's American Traditions Competition, along with first place in the Billie Holiday Competition, which offers a $2,500 prize and an appearance with the Baltimore Symphony.
